dpnp.random.beta

dpnp.random.beta(a, b, size=None)[source]

Draw samples from a Beta distribution.

For full documentation refer to numpy.random.beta.

Limitations

Parameters a and b are supported as scalar. Otherwise, numpy.random.beta(a, b, size) samples are drawn. Output array data type is dpnp.float64.

Examples

Draw samples from the distribution:

>>> a, b = .4, .5  # alpha, beta
>>> s = dpnp.random.beta(a, b, 1000)
