dpnp.random.gumbel
- dpnp.random.gumbel(loc=0.0, scale=1.0, size=None)[source]
Draw samples from a Gumbel distribution.
For full documentation refer to
numpy.random.gumbel
.Limitations
Parameters loc and scale are supported as scalar. Otherwise,
numpy.random.gumbel(loc, scale, size)
samples are drawn. Output array data type isdpnp.float64
.Examples
Draw samples from the distribution:
>>> mu, beta = 0, 0.1 # location and scale >>> s = dpnp.random.gumbel(mu, beta, 1000)
