Examples

Return the mean of the values.
import numpy as np
import pandas as pd
from numba import njit

@njit
def series_mean():
    series = pd.Series([3.2, -10, np.nan, 0.23, 9.2])

    return series.mean()  # Expect value: 0.6575

print(series_mean())
$ python ./series/series_mean.py
0.6575
