MKLRandomState.leapfrog(k, nstreams)

Initializes the current state generator using leap-frog method, if supported for the basic random pseudo-random number generation algorithm.

Parameters:

kint

Index of the sub-stream to generate, should be 0 <= k < nstreams.

nstreamsint

Number of sub-streams the original stream is split into, should be positive.

Raises:

ValueError

If leap-frog is not supported for the current brng, or if oneMKL rejects k and nstreams.
